This dress is adorable! And it has a ton of options - 4 sleeve options, you can make an empire waist with or without elastic, a sash, or a ruffle along the hem. As with most of Astrid's patterns, you can mix and match with some of her other patterns to get a totally different look.
I'm a self-taught sewer. I picked up sewing when my 2nd daughter was a baby. My father showed me the basic mechanics of using a sewing machine and I was hooked! I have been sewing for 7 years now! I'm a mother of 4 girls and I love to make clothes for them. It is so satisfying to see them wearing something that I've created with my own hands. I enjoy other forms of crafting - scrapbooking, painting, anything that allows me to use some creativity. Alas, sewing has become my first love!
